Parish f/t is thrilled to release his new single “Control” featuring vocals by Kevin Kelly. Parish f/tIs former Cage the ElephantGuitarist And Now Producer, Lincoln Parish’s Solo Project. Parish f/t was an accident – a musical lab experiment that worked. The project capitalizes on unintended results to great effect, bringing together a roster of featured vocalists where the sum is always greater than the parts.

He is no stranger to following where the music leads him. At age 15 he became the lead guitarist in Cage The Elephant and found himself quickly thrust into the spotlight. Three albums and countless world tours later, Parish felt the urge to follow the music again and quit the band at the top of their game. There was no blow-up, just hunger to evolve. He settled in Nashville where he established himself as a go-to writer and producer for artists including Lucinda Williams, Run River North, The Moxies and more.

Reel Big Fish was one of the legions of Southern California ska-punk bands to edge into the mainstream following the mid-’90s success of No Doubt and Sublime. The band was distinguished by their hyperkinetic stage shows, juvenile humor, ironic covers of new wave pop songs, and metallic shards of ska. The group cultivated an underground following that broke into the mainstream in summer 1997 when their single “Sell Out” became a modern rock radio and MTV favorite.

Their appearance in the movie “Baseketball” as the halftime band also gained them more fans and helped the band’s popularity to grow. Still fronted by original lead singer and songwriter Aaron Barrett, they continue releasing albums and touring relentlessly, playing more and more countries and bigger venues all over the world.

Offering a light in a time of darkness is something frontman Brent Smith is deeply connected to after battling his own personal demons, and “GET UP” was born out of watching his friend, Shinedown bassist Eric Bass, deal with clinical depression. When Brent put pen to paper, a beautiful, universal song rooted in Brent and Eric’s raw vulnerability took shape. Atlanta dates are May 7 & 8 @ Coca-Cola Roxy Theatre.
