Van Alden is the deep, pop-noir music project of  Los Angeles-based artist and clothing designer, Paul Abrahamian, who garnered the public’s eye with his appearance on two seasons of CBS’s hit series, Big Brother. He just released his sophomore EP, You’re Not What You Used to Be.

A follow up to his self-titled 2018 release, the new EP is a strong showing of a fully-modern singer-songwriter, bent on expressing life’s more intense and complicated emotions from loss, memory, to freedom, despite the pain. The dark, moody, and synth-heavy sounds make the record feel like a lonely 3AM smoke on a rooftop in L.A.

Colorado-born, Brooklyn-based alt/psych band,  Futurist, share “Olive Mountain” in anticipation of their new album, Omens, due out September 27, 2019.  Led by central songwriter, Curtis Peel, the project  features psychedelic rock and earnest songwriting, achieving a sound best described as “future-classic.”

By virtue of experimentation, a multimedia vision, and energetic delivery, Futurist creates a wall of sound that ignites audiences with their own style and modern mythology.“Futurist hearkens to the past with the sounds of strings and colonial drumbeats, but the underlying darkness meshed with sunny demeanor proves they offer enough light to burn.”

The supernatural masked duo ATLiens are back for more with their new heavy single “Shelter,” out now on Bassrush Records. With spine-chilling vocals and floor-shaking bass, this release is sure to give listeners an out-of-this-world experience.

“Shelter” marks their second spooky single on Bassrush Records after their recent memorable release “Closer” and accompanying creepy music video. ATLiens continues to shake the earth with their menacing music as they prepare a live show for fans and a new EP that will drop later this month. ATLiens’ supernatural sounds are on a journey to take over the bass scene, and their next stop: invading earth.

Back with a brand new single, Carnage is going back into the bass/EDM game. “BLITZKRIEG” ft. NAZAAR (a vocalist behind Showtek’s famous rave anthem “F The System” who also remixed The Chainsmokers’ “Sick Boy” on Columbia Rec.) is Carnage’s first festival-friendly release after a year spent in the hip-hop/urban world with “Wait For Me” ft. G-Eazy, Wiz Khalifa and “Letting People Go” ft. Prince George (both released on EMPIRE, a label behind Kendrick Lamar, Iggy Azalea, Snoop Dogg, Tyga, Schoolboy Q, to name a few).

In typical Bebe style, the lyrics on ‘Harder’ showcase her sass and sharp wit underpinned by the infectious dance and pop beats Jax is synonymous for. ‘Harder’ offers an empowering and self-assured message on how to handle love that is frank but fun.

Collectively both Bebe and Jax have set the charts on fire with a succession of award-winning collaborations although ‘Harder’ is the pair’s first joint record. With both boasting an impressive back catalog of hits, the release of ‘Harder’ is all set to bring their legions of loyal fans together providing the perfect soundtrack to summer.
