London Records recording artists, Shakespears Sister have reunited as a band after a 26 year falling out between creative collaborators Siobhan Fahey and Marcella Detroit. The reunited powerhouse duo will release a new record, ‘Singles Party’ (London Records) on July 19, 2019, which will include two new tracks, “All the Queens’ Horses” and “C U Next Tuesday” as well as classic hits from their back catalog.

In addition, Shakespears Sister launched a new, three-part podcast, Ride Again: The Shakespears Sister Story.  Narrated by Kate Hutchinson the podcast explores the band’s history as one of music’s most subversive duos, their iconic number one single Stay, how they eventually fell apart in the early 90s – and then came back together, with brand new music, after 26 years.

FFRR, one of the most influential forces in global dance music, will launch some special releases and events as they celebrate 30 years at the top. To kick-start the celebrations they have brought two of house music’s most respected artists together, David Guetta and Martin Solveig, to combine their forces on the brand new track ‘Thing For You.

‘Thing For You’ follows Guetta’s collaboration with Raye on ‘Stay (Don’t Go Away), while on the 26th of July Guetta will also be releasing his highly anticipated collaboration with Morten and Aloe Blacc ‘ Never Be Alone’. Next to that, he has started his summer season with his highly successful residencies BIG and F*** Me I’m Famous on Ibiza at Ushuaïa and Hï, while also heading out to play lots of mainstays at festivals.

In and beyond the world of dance music, few connections are as strong as the one between Armin van Buuren and the crowd at UNTOLD Festival. Every UNTOLD live set of the world-renowned DJ thus far turned out to be an unbelievable spectacle, involving everything from scorching Trance tracks to tears of joy to playing a few hours extra simply because no one wanted the moment to end.

And now, less than a month before the 2019 edition of the Romanian festival kicks off, Armin van Buuren and Avian Grays unleashed the festival’s official anthem: ‘Something Real’ (feat. Jordan Shaw). And that’s not all, because Armin van Buuren will hit UNTOLD Festival 2019 with the longest mainstage live set ever on his own dedicated day: Armin UNTOLD day.

After weeks of dominating dancefloors and airwaves worldwide in early summer, Martin Garrix’s landmark collaboration with Macklemore and Patrick StumpSummer Days’ has truly dominated. Now comes the full remix package, featuring the four already-released reworks plus a new one from US house master Junior Sanchez.

The former Daft Punk and Basement Jaxx collaborator has been on fine form recently, and he continues his patch on this great remix. Undulating bass funk weaves around chunky house beats to create a hard groove while gentle cymbal rides pick up the energy and complete this cool houser.

Known for his one-of-a-kind sound, Todd Helder is back on STMPD RCRDS with Trapped. The futuristic vibe is all over the track, taking us on a trip to different dimensions. This being his third release on Martin Garrix’s label this year, Todd just started but is already showing what he’s capable of.

InVogue Records have signed Nashville based FFN. The first single “Ugly” is available everywhere digitally today. You can view the music video for “Ugly” at the InVogue Records YouTube channel & it is also featured on MTV.

Vocalist Matheus Amado says, “I was in a relationship with a girl at the time and she called me crying at 3am because some girls she worked with were making fun of her hair or makeup. I was trying to calm her down but she was just so upset and said “I feel ugly do you know what it’s like?” then I replied with “I feel ugly all the time.” That’s what started the inspiration for the song. I originally wrote the song with the intent of being ironic, however, I think it resonates with a lot of people too.
