Atlanta United returns to action Saturday night when it hosts Columbus Crew SC at Mercedes-Benz Stadium. The match, presented by Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, is set to kick-off at 7 p.m. ET and will be broadcast on FOX Sports Southeast.

Atlanta enters the match in third place in the Eastern Conference and can clinch a playoff spot with a win over Columbus or a Montreal loss or draw versus FC Cincinnati. The team is also riding an 11-match unbeaten streak at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in league play, which is the third-longest home unbeaten streak in MLS this season. Forward Josef Martinez, who was named MLS Player of the Month for July and August, is riding an MLS record 13-game scoring streak, which is also the third-longest streak in world soccer since MLS was founded.

This will be the sixth meeting all-time between the clubs and Atlanta is 2-0-0 at home with a pair of 3-1 victories in 2017 and 2018. Atlanta owns a 4-1-0 record overall and has outscored the Crew 10-4 combined over the five matches. Columbus won the first league meeting this season with a 2-0 victory on March 30 while Atlanta earned a 3-2 win at Columbus on June 18 to advance in the U.S. Open Cup. Tito Villalba leads Atlanta with five career goals against the Crew. Columbus currently sits in 11th place in the Eastern Conference standings and is 3-9-2 away from home in 2019, though it has lost just once in its last nine games.
