The State Farm College Slam Dunk & 3-Point Championships will take place at the award-winning State Farm Arena in downtown Atlanta on Thursday, April 2 at 7:30 p.m. ET, helping tip off college basketball’s ultimate weekend. The 32nd annual event, produced by Chicago-based Intersport, returns to Atlanta for the first time since 2013. ESPN will air the event in its entirety at 9 p.m. ET.

Tickets for the State Farm College Slam Dunk & 3-Point Championships will go on sale beginning at 10 a.m. ET on Wednesday. Tickets, which begin at $10, can be purchased at www.ticketmaster.com or the State Farm Arena box office. For special rates for groups of 10 or more, please visit CollegeSlam.com/Groups.

Twenty-four of the nation’s elite men’s and women’s college basketball players will convene in Atlanta to participate in the event. The night features the Great Clips Slam Dunk Championship, the Mercedes-Benz Men’s 3-Point Championship, the Rocket Mortgage Women’s 3-Point Shooting Championship, and the Applebee’s Team Shootout. The winners of the Men’s and Women’s 3-Point Championships will then compete in the Reese’s Puffs Battle of the Champions.

“Over the years, college basketball’s most exciting dunkers and premier shooters have competed against the best at the State Farm College Slam Dunk & 3-Point Championships,” said Intersport executive vice president Drew Russell. “National Basketball Hall of Famers and NCAA All-Americans have provided some memorable moments at this all-star showcase, and we are excited to add to that history at State Farm Arena this April. It will undoubtedly be an entertaining atmosphere for fans that want to be part of such a special weekend of college basketball.”

Over the last 31 years, several of the top players in college basketball have competed in the State Farm College Slam Dunk & 3-Point Championships before moving on to the professional ranks, including Gary Payton, Steve Nash, Jason Terry, Kyle Korver, Bobby Hurley, Michael Finley, Allan Houston, Wesley Matthews, Denzel Valentine, Yogi Ferrell, Cappie Pondexter, Katie Gearlds, Kristi Toliver, Odyssey Sims, Tiffany Hayes, Tiffany Mitchell and Ariel Atkins.
