Music Monday: The Keystones, LAKES, BVRNOUT, ANDREKZA, and David Guetta x MORTEN

The Keystones are an alternative rock band based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Born in Waukesha, the very same place as the electric guitar, the members of this unique, out-of-the-box rock group hail from the golden era of grunge guitar, one that’s full of heavy tones and hypnotizing garage beats that dance between Brit-indie-rock and new-age modern rock sounds.

Watford, UK indie rockers LAKES have released a new music video for their latest single “Pine Barrens.” The group has taken influence from mid-western emo, math-rock and alternative indie and combined those with Fleetwood Mac style dual-vocal pop melodies and twinkling glockenspiel to create their trademark “Glock-Rock” sound.

Lakes’ ‘This World Of Ours, It Came Apart,’ was released in July 2020 via Know Hope Records in North America and The LP Cafe in the UK.

Rising producer BVRNOUT brings electronic prowess to Dim Mak’s New Noise imprint via his bass house banger “I Get You.”

Massachusetts-born Chris Barnhart, A.K.A. BVRNOUT, is in full effect. Coming off of “Rock The Party,” dropped via Don Diablo’s Generation HEX, and “Fade,” the second ever release on Space Yacht’s brand new label, BVRNOUT is closing out the year on a hot streak. His Trap Nation single “Apache” alongside 5oh8 put him on the map in 2016, but with a new direction for his sound, BVRNOUT is reemerging on the scene with a fresh take on bass house.

Venezuelan artist and creative director ANDREKZA releases the visuals to “Nerviosa,” the latest single off of her forthcoming debut EP, Cassette Lado A, set to be released early 2021 via Steve Aoki’s Latin imprint – Dim Mak En Fuego. The visuals were shot in Los Angeles and directed by ANDREKZA and Macksimo, as well as edited and color corrected by the multifaceted and talented artist herself.

David Guetta and MORTEN delighted the dance community and beyond with a Future Rave remix of Fleetwood Mac’s classic ‘Dreams’, featuring vocalist Lanie Gardner who David Guetta discovered on Youtube. The official music video drops today, and stars Nathan Apodaca, aka Doggface, the man who became an overnight sensation due to a viral TikTok video of him casually sipping Ocean Spray Cran-Raspberry juice and listening to Fleetwood Mac as he was skateboarding down the road.
