Music Monday: iLan Bluestone, Ayo & Teo, Marieme, Au5 ft. HALIENE, and Gretta Ray

Arriving May 2021 on Above & Beyond’s iconic Anjunabeats imprint, ‘Impulse’ is ilan Bluestone’s most personal outing to date. At the forefront of progressive and trance for almost a decade, Ilan creates high-energy trance with heart and soul. From barnstorming festival favorites ’43’, ‘Spheres’ and ‘Let Me Know’, to modern updates of genre classics like System F’s ‘Out Of The Blue’, Armin van Buuren’s ‘In And Out Of Love’ and OceanLab’s ‘On A Good Day’ and ‘Satellite’, his emotional, song-drive approach to dance music has earned him eleven genre chart #1’s on Beatport and a legion of fans around the world.

Ayleo and Mateo Bowles, better known as Ayo & Teo, are a duo of dancers and musicians from Ann Arbor, Michigan. Known for their hit-song “Rolex” and their copious dance videos, they released a new album, Power. Watch the official audio of their track “Gifted Freestyle.”

Eclectic, Senegalese born singer/artist, Marieme releases her new single “Love Now”. The song is the follow-up to her “call to action” anthem, “Freedom” and her breakout song, “Leave”.

“Love Now” features distinct, resonant vocals alongside a wistful but powerful contribution from the City of Prague Philharmonic Orchestra. With lyrics that speak of hope and repair, “Love Now” serves as a poignant reminder to allow oneself to love and be loved.

In a stellar pairing, ‘Was It You’ sees New Jersey based producer Au5 collaborate with Los Angeles singer / songwriter HALIENE on a truly sublime, trailblazing production. This comes straight off the back of his recent high profile collaborations with Tritonal and Dylan Matthew on ‘Happy Where We Are’.

Gretta Ray’s first release of 2021 introduces an innovative concept in new music sharing: Duologies — two songs joined in theme but creatively distinct, issued as a pair, with echoes of the classic Double A-sided single. “Bigger Than Me” / “Readymade” is the first in a series of Duologies lined up for release through 2021.
