Music Monday: Yumi Zouma, Foals, ReauBeau, Peter Raffoul, and Nurko

International alt-pop band Yumi Zouma has announced the release of their eagerly awaited new album. Present Tense arrives via Polyvinyl on Friday, March 18; pre-orders are available now. The New Zealand-born band’s fourth studio album is preceded by the rousing new single, “In The Eyes Of Our Love,” available today at all DSPs and streaming services.

Foals further build anticipation for their upcoming album as they today share a new ‘Wake Me Up’ remix courtesy of the acclaimed Flight Facilities. This is the second collaboration between the two groups after Flight Facilities featured on Tim Fuchs’ remix of ‘Miami’ in 2010.

The remix proves that Flight Facilities are a perfect choice for the direction that Foals are taking with their new music. The Australian production duo play up the exuberant disco energy of the original, adventurously infusing elements of Detroit house and hip-hop rhythms with flourishes of funk.

ReauBeau stakes his claim on 2022 with the rousing ‘My Way’ featuring rising Icelandic star Brynja Mary! With ReauBeau’s uniquely anthemic and cinematic style, it’s unsurprising that his tracks have been far-reaching. In between composing for FIFA and Rocket League, ReauBeau has been producing for the Dutch Sports Federation at the Tokyo Olympics, and creating syncs for the brands Off White, Johnnie Walker, Victoria’s Secret and Peloton.

“Cigarette holes” is the second single from Peter Raffoul on his own label, House In Blue. It follows “Fucked Up Together” which was released last month and gives fans another taste of his debut EP due out this Spring.

With the imminent release of ‘Arrival’, renowned DJ/producer Nurko is gearing up for quite an eventful 2022. The forthcoming EP has been in the works for well over a year, and is slated to feature both lead single ‘Disappearing Now’ with Chandler Leighton from last November.
