Music Monday: BLVD., Parov Stelar, Kelland ft. Willa, Timmo Hendriks, and Samplifire & Dirtyphonics

The latest release from BLVD. is “Turn The Beat Around”, a festival and club-ready bold house rework of a song of the same title. It was initially released in 1976 by Vicki Sue Robinson and later covered by Gloria Estefan in 1994. BLVD.’s version perfectly preserves the old-school disco vibe and adds a modern dance twist to it.

Established Austrian musician and artist Parov Stelar returns with another groundbreaking sonic masterpiece in the form of ‘Akh Odessa’. The venerated talent’s latest original production features his signature electro-swing flair in addition to propelling vocals courtesy of the Russian Gentlemen Club.

Canadian DJ/producer Kelland and Toronto-based talent Willa return to the release radar with ‘RIP TO US’, marking each artists’ first official release of the new year. The enticing track directly follows up he and Jay Isaiah’s hit ‘Lullaby’ from the end of last November.

Timmo Hendriks’s newest release – “Make You Mine,” just dropped on Protocol Recordings. Hendriks is an expert at creating emotive and yet dancefloor-friendly music, and “Make You Mine” is a shining example of this fact.

Samplifire and Dirtyphonics have hit the ground running in 2022 with their latest collaboration “Molitor.” The mind-melting track brings Samplifire’s dub flair into play with the signature drumstep style of the acclaimed Dirtyphonics duo. The single is a standout release on Dirtyphonics’ newest EP offering, What The French.
