Atlanta United announced today it has acquired $300,000 in 2023 General Allocation Money (GAM), $100,000 in 2024 GAM, and a 2023 international roster slot from Colorado Rapids in exchange for Andrew Gutman. Atlanta could also acquire up to $150,000 in conditional GAM if Gutman reaches performance thresholds during his time with Colorado. Major League Soccer’s Secondary Transfer Window officially opened today and will remain open until Wednesday, Aug. 2.
“We want to thank Andrew for his commitment and contributions to the club over the last two seasons,” Atlanta United Vice President and Technical Director Carlos Bocanegra said. “He gave everything to the club and played each game with maximum effort and heart. We wish him the best of luck in his future.”
