  • Atlanta holds a 2-3-3 all-time record against Nashville SC in MLS regular season play: 1-1-1 at home and 1-2-2 on the road. This will be the second meeting of the season between the two sides as Nashville won 3-1 on April 29 at GEODIS Park.
  • After scoring his second brace of the season in the team’s 2-0 victory at Seattle on Saturday, Giorgos Giakoumakis is tied for second in the MLS Golden Boot race with 12 goals. The striker’s 1.02 goals per 90 minutes is the best mark in the league (min. 1,000 minutes played). LAFC’s Denis Bouanga ranks second at .64.
  • Thiago Almada recorded his 19th goal contribution (eight goals, 11 assists) with an assist against Seattle. That ranks third in MLS behind behind Nashville’s Hany Mukhtar (21) and Cincinnati’s Luciano Acosta (20). Almada is one assist shy of reaching his assist total of 12 from last season. Atlanta’s number 10 also leads MLS in chances created from open play with 54.
  • Miles Robinson returned to MLS action on Saturday for the first time since June 10. The center back won 100% of his duels against Seattle, the fourth match this season that he’s won 100% of his duels, and continues to lead the league in Duel Success Rate at 74.5% (min. 100 duels).
  • Brooks Lennon recorded his eighth assist of the season, which marks a new single-season career best for the right back. Lennon’s 24 career MLS regular season assists with Atlanta rank third in club history.
