Ookay and Cesqeaux deliver a ground-shaking blend of trap and bass with the new single “Choppas,” full of powerful drums, heavy drops, and frenzied vocal chops.

Immediately upon pressing play, “Choppas” comes in hot – all gas, no brakes here. The high-octane single provides the perfect chaotic bass and trap, accompanied by energetic vocals to match.

New York’s metal scene is growing and mighty, and bringing the genre to new heights is instrumental metal band Iron Axxis. They’re gearing up for the release of their song/video “In Those Eyes” ahead of their forthcoming album 2286. Due out early 2024, the album highlights the band’s unique progressive, guitar-driven songwriting.

Following recent anthems ‘Glory’ with Waajeed and ‘Sweat’ with Melvo Baptiste, Dames Brown are reaching new heights as they further their relationship with the London label. Similarly, the Godfather of Techno Soul, Eddie Fowlkes, continues to innovate with genre-defying releases like the four-track ‘AHYEE EP’ on Classic Music Company, asserting his position as an industry titan.

Dim Mak welcomes the legendary Wolfgang Gartner to the label with his new uptempo Electro Funk track “Level Up” featuring reverberating bass and energetic rap vocals from Scrufizzer. The Grammy-nominated producer has been a staple in the dance community for over 23 years. With releases on Ultra, Sony Music, and Mau5trap, Altlantic, a total of 8 of Wolfgang Gartner’s tracks have held #1 position on Beatport Top 10 Chart, with his single “Wolfgang’s 5th Symphony” being the highest-selling song on Beatport in 2009.

Closing out 2023 with what can only be described as a powerhouse combination on the label, MEDUZA, Ferreck Dawn, and Clementine Douglas come together on Defected Records with ‘I Got Nothing.’

A faultless amalgamation of the three artists’ styles, MEDUZA’s spacious and celestial production aesthetic, Ferreck’s innate house sensibilities, and Clementine’s soaring vocal work together in harmony on this elegant club cut.
