Ivy has reissued their seminal 2000 album Long Distance, available via Bar/None Records. Formed in 1994, the trio includes Andy Chase, Dominique Durand, and the late Adam Schlesinger, who together achieved critical success with their singular brand of disaffected, nuanced pop. The reissue features a new, unearthed song entitled “All I Ever Wanted” that was produced by Lloyd Cole in 1997 while the band were recording their album Apartment Life. Also included are a remix of “Edge of the Ocean” by Duotone as well as an original demo of the song.
Mom+Pop Music announced the signing of R&B duo Galdive. The Indonesian group released their first single from the partnership today, “Night Charade.”
Galdive is the musical project of an Indonesian duo: singer/songwriter, creator Tisha, and composer/producer Osvaldo. Known for their unique sounds, they swerve in and out of genres ranging from R&B to electronic, Jazz, and Pop. Tisha creates the artwork and design elements for Galdive, presenting them as a music and visual project.
