Unbeknownst to a lot of people, one of the more popular sports here is tennis. There is a HUGE tennis community here in Atlanta and it attracts people from far and wide. One of those people is Tennis Pros Atlanta (TPA) coach Desmond McLennon (better known as “Coach D”).
Desmond was born and raised in Toronto, Ontario, Canada where his hard work on the court earned him a four-year tennis scholarship to Alabama A&M University. His coaching and dynamic programming have led to many of his teams and communities receiving recognition. Desmond brings several years of experience from playing, coaching, facility management and consultation to the TPA Team. His passion to work with people of all ages and abilities and his love for the game continues to grow. His love for the game is what drove him to publish his first book “Strings and Grips,” a children’s book that shows how tennis can be fun for everyone.
All the way from Toronto to Atlanta. It’s a special city everyone, people from all around are relocating here for various reasons but no matter what the reason, we are one Atlanta!
