Simply Beautiful Designs by Monique Edwards – A rising Fashion Collection with the 21st Century Woman in Mind!
With Atlanta International Fashion week slowly creeping upon us we wanted to feature an up and coming clothing line with styles and designs that deserve the recognition that AIFW gave them on their website. With that, we’d like to tell you about Simply Beautiful Designs.
The Peach Review™ was introduced to the emerging designer Monique Edwards of Simply Beautiful Designs through Atlanta International Fashion Week (AIFW) where she will be showcasing her 2012 Spring/Summer Collection.
Simply Beautiful Designs first debut was at Frugal Fashion Week in Toronto; showcasing 3 dresses catered to the fashionista on a budget. From that, Monique received an interview and photo shoot with SNM Fashion Magazine and from there the work trickled in.
Now this emerging designer has not only started her own women’s wear line but swim wear and accessories as well. The cornerstones of this fashion line are simplicity, beauty and elegance; elements that are put into all the creations.
With an emphasis placed on embellishments, prints are the signature to this collection. An array of fabrics are used from all over the world (Dubai, India, Italy, Philippines) representing an edgy and unique style.
Inspiration comes from a mix of vintage hollywood and the 1940’s to present where fabric was used in a tasteful manner to accent a women’s body with class!
Recent credits have been music videos and photo shoots with the industries Elite talent, while providing wardrobe styling for Celebrity Musicians and Independent Labels.
