Derek Anderson knows what ingredients are needed to give oneself the best opportunity to claim victory. Last weekend, he successfully launched his branded theme night, “VICTORY H2O Water – Victory is Ours!” The event took place in Lexington at the Convention Center and The Peach Review™ was invited to cover this exclusive Blue carpet event.
Another monument of this evening would be to celebrate the athletic achievements of the University of Kentucky Basketball program by bringing members of the 1978, 1996, 1998 and 2012 UK Wildcat Team back to the Big Blue Nation (that is what University of Kentucky fans/alumni are referred as).
The event featured samples of the electrolyte enhanced water to guests, auction items, a full course dinner and autograph opportunities.
VICTORY H2O™ is an industry leading hydration experience that ensures a winning drop is achieved every time to fuel ones body towards victory! The core ingredients include enhanced electrolytes which help eliminate toxins and increase the rate of recovery to your body, which makes it your complete water in today’s stressful world. The knowledgeable and courteous staff on hand stated to many, “This is not your average drinking water! Whether you are exercising, playing sports, at home or work…you will enjoy and feel the difference that VICTORY H2O™ provides.” We can tell you that the water tastes GREAT and does provide such a refreshing positive energy charge as we observed the guests visiting the auctions items.
Some of the auctions items included Derek Anderson memorabilia, VICTORY H2O™ posters with pictures of current and past University of Kentucky players that would be signed at the end of the night to name a few. It must be noted that this event featured many of the current and past UK basketball players who came out to support Derek from the previous championship years. Those included Antoine Walker, Tony Delk, Walter McCarty, Anthony Epps, Jeff Sheppard, Cameron Mills, and many others. It really showed the high level of support, respect, loyalty, and teamwork that the current and former players of Kentucky have for their alma mater.
As dinner was served guests had the opportunity to view, “The Untouchables of Kentucky”
(http://www.untouchablesofkentucky.com/index.htm), which is about the Greatest Team Ever during the 1995-1996 basketball season. What made the evening more exciting was the question and answer session along with trivia / prizes held through out the night. It was definitely a blast to hear the stories from all the teammates who were there to show their support to the launch of VICTORY H2O™.
