Algernon Johnson to debut his Fall Collection

Designer Algernon Johnson of Sir Algernon presents the preview of his Fall Collection entitled “According to Sir Algernon” hosted by Dominique Scott (TLC’s The Sisterhood). The production theme is “Old Hollywood Glamour” which is an infusion of vintage glitz and glam mixed with modern edge. The collection is filled with Sir Algernon’s signature black and white pieces sprinkled with not so subtle pops of color! The production of According to Sir Algernon is three scenes starting with a metallic gold jaw dropping opening piece, leading to a fun and flirty scene, and ending with the little black dress scene that will be modeled by guest celebrity clients of Sir Algernon. In between scenes, Sir Algernon will introduce his fierce children’s collection for his younger fashionistas. The night is filled with surprises, including “silver” male models and an adorable white poodle.

Portions of “According to Sir Algernon” will be filmed for the new reality television show Single Moms of Atlanta. Cast members including Monique Bradford (also client) are confirmed to be part of the production. Other confirmed celebrities include Jonna “NFL Wifey” Johnson, Aliyah “Mama Pain” Najm, Momma Dee (Love and Hip Hop Atlanta) and more.

Sir Algernon will have a silent auction for one (1) piece from each scene of the collection. The highest bidder will go home with a one of a kind Sir Algernon creation! Also, Sir Algernon will announce and introduce the winner of his “Up and Coming Designer” contest. The lucky designer will be given the opportunity to show one (1) look from their collection on the runway.

Red carpet photos and interviews begin at 6:30pm and is hosted by the F.A.B. TMarie of Youstream Radio. The pre-show begins at 7:30pm with performances by acoustic guitarist MIAFFLO and a hot reggae mash-up by Jamaican artist Stylez. Fan interviews will be hosted by Andre Scott Immediately following the production.
