This past Saturday (October 5th) Hawks fans got a special treat in the form of an open practice session. Fans from all over Atlanta gathered to watch as the full team and coaching staff prepared for the start of the season. This event was free and open to the public, and even included a Q&A session with Coach Bud!
The Hawks started the preseason with a tough loss to the Heat, but quickly recovered the next day with a win against the Bobcats. Their next game is against the New Orleans Pelicans on the 14th and their first home-game of the preseason will be on the 17th against the San Antonio Spurs.
