Ben Stiller directs and stars in The Secret Life of Walter Mitty, an amazing story of how a daydreamer changes his boring life and makes it adventurous. Walter Mitty (Ben Stiller) lived an extremely boring life and on top of that he was single. Working at LIFE magazine hadn’t brought any excitement to his life and the work never changed. Until one day, when he and co-worker Cheryl Melhoff (Kristen Wiig) found out they were getting laid off, Walter decides to take matters into his own hands.
He sets off on an adventure to find a missing negative that was sent to him with a folder full of pictures. All of them were there with the exception of one, that one being the last cover shot for LIFE magazine. That is when his quest to find the photographer to get the missing negative takes him everywhere from a volcano to the arctic. His wild imagination involving events in his life gives the film a more genuine feel, because the audience can relate to it. Every few minutes he imagines something and it forces you to think not if, but WHEN did you daydream the same thing? It’s a wonderful film everyone should enjoy! 9 out of 10.
