The Preview Trade Show was the perfect platform for already established and up-and-coming clothing brands to unite and give a “preview” of what’s to come for the new season. It was a great opportunity for urban/skate/indie brands to come together in one place and show off their proudest work and latest creations. This amazing show took place at the Georgia International Convention Center.
Media, buyers, and guests alike came and basked in all of the awesomeness Preview ATL had to offer, and it was hosted by ATL’s very own Publik Trust. A few brands we saw in attendance were BBC/Ice Cream, Moss Clothing, Veritas Apparel, GMI Clothing (Get Money Industries), Dope, Coke Boys, CBC (Chemical Baby Clothing), Grind Stone, L.A.T.H.C. (Los Angeles Tree House Club), Fly Supply, Yums, and Silvano.
What makes this trade show so special is that it solely focuses on the urban perspective of clothing. This is very important and coincides directly with Atlanta’s influence on the music industry (its URBAN influence) as the backdrop of Atlanta is guess what? Urban. You can’t list a top 10 set of producers, artists, or studios, and NOT mention Atlanta, because they’re either from here or live here. So hosting a gathering of creative minds that feed into the very culture that makes Atlanta special, is altogether special in itself.
With the trade show spanning 2 days and hosting companies from California, Texas, New York, and even Connecticut, it was a great success and definitely something you don’t want to miss next time if you’re into the latest urban/indie/skater trends! Big shout to Publik Trust for providing a platform for such an event.
