Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, in conjunction with Global Concessions, Inc., has redefined the travel dining space. Last month marked three years since Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport solicited Requests for Proposals for one of the largest concession roll-outs in North America. Today, customers passing through Hartsfield-Jackson are met with a variety of dining and retail options, including both nationally known brands and local favorites. Upon the project’s completion, Hartsfield-Jackson will boast one of the highest numbers of concession locations of any airport in the world. Currently, there are more than 120 new restaurants and retail locations at Hartsfield-Jackson, many of which operated by Global Concessions, Inc.
The team behind hospitality brands One Flew South, Sweet Georgia’s Juke Joint, Jekyll Island Seafood Company and the world’s first airport-housed IHOP introduced the first-licensed Blue Moon Brewhouse on Thursday, November 6.
Blue Moon Brewing Company® founder and brewmaster, Keith Villa, earned his Ph.D. in brewing from the University of Brussels in Belgium. He founded the company in 1995 to craft beers inspired by Belgian styles. His first interpretation turned out to be the brewer’s most popular beer, Blue Moon Belgian White, Belgian Style Wheat Ale. Enjoy the brewery’s flagship beers and great food pairings at Blue Moon Brewhouse.
