Alternative pop-rock UK band, Cape Cub are thrilled to unveil their music video for their song, “Moonglow.”
Cape Cub started life as the bedroom solo project of award-winning UK based songwriter and producer Chad Male. Now joined by four bandmates, Cape Cub releases their first full band single “Moonglow.” Cape Cub’s emotive and euphoric live shows have seen the band play sold-out headline shows across the UK, as well as sharing stages the likes of Peace, The Temper Trap, Fickle Friends, Picture This, Sunset Sons and Clean Cut Kid. Songs such as “Keep Me In Mind” have found their feet on the worldwide stage, too, with features on hit US TV shows such as Grey’s Anatomy and Deception, following a sync agreement with LA’s Lava Records (Lorde, Jessie J, Trans-Siberian Orchestra).
Time is Louis Cole’s third album – a casual but addictive blend of quick-fire, hook-laden electro-funk bullets and wistful, soft-focus balladry – and its compelling. “A lot of it is little thoughts, that I made into big songs… blasts of inspiration that I was lucky enough to receive,” he explains. “But it all comes back to my mission to create deep feelings through music.”
Proudly DIY to date, Cole has built up an ardent fan base for his own solo output and that of his band KNOWER who zigzag across the globe on tour. However, in 2009 he met Dennis Hamm – keys maestro in Thundercats live band – who introduced Cole to Thundercat and Flying Lotus. “Dennis bridged the gap.. he was the link. In fact, Flying Lotus asked Dennis if I would want to release something on Brainfeeder before he even asked me.”
Circus Records welcomes back Mexican bass sensation Jessica Audiffred, who once again teams up with Jamaican reggae artist Exile Di Brave for the fiery dubstep stomp of “Steppin’.” Exile Di Brave, previously featured on Jessica’s Circus debut “Chat Culture,” returns to help concoct some more explosive dancefloor alchemy.
Jessica’s talent and hunger to establish herself on the global stage has seen high-profile sets at EDC and Tomorrowland, and nods from a wealth of international tastemakers including YourEDM, Nest HQ and Flux Pavilion himself who included her in his list of top global acts for the DJ Mag Top 100. After remixing “Feel Your Love,” Flux Pavilion’s huge collaboration with NGHTMRE, Jessica signed with Circus Records for a series of dynamic singles and a solo EP which has helped to enforce her truly individual voice across the world.
Riot Ten stays true to his ‘hype or die’ dubstep ethos with unyielding intensity on his Dim Mak single “No Surrender.” Fierce wobbles are reinforced by punchy kick drums and fuming vocals, all culminating into a rail-breaking riot.
Riot Ten’s “No Surrender” featuring Jeff Kush is the lead single from his forthcoming fall EP, Hype Or Die: Genesis. Fans can get a taste of the new record over the next few months, as Riot Ten makes his way across North America on his headlining Hype Or Die Tour. *Explicit Lyrics*
