Music Monday: Pretty Pink, Tritonal, Jauz, Shaun Frank, and Nevada

The powerhouse behind Wanderlust Records, Anne Ka – alias Pretty Pink – delivers a powerful, synth-driven track ‘Pure’. The track is arriving a month ahead of her forthcoming 2-track EP, ‘Move It/Rider’ which will feature her signature pulsating tech-house sound.

‘Pure’ sees the German DJ/producer experiment with deep, enthralling sonic elements, and will surely find itself entering in many closing festival sets leading into fall.

Following the end of their “10 Years of Enhanced North America Tour,” Tritonal releases a stacked remix package for their most recent hit – “Love U Right.” Out now on Enhanced Music, the package consists of four fresh takes on the original from DallasK, Attom, Kyau & Albert and Yetep & Zephure; each placing the artist’s unique touch on Tritonal’s signature electro-pop sound.

After working on tracks for upwards of three years, Jauz has finally released his debut artist album The Wise and The Wicked. Featuring collaborations ranging from Snails to Kiara, this 23 track endeavor is unlike any other album in the dance music space.

From a heavy dubstep track alongside bass maestro Snails to a metal-infused collaboration with Canadian duo Adventure Club and We Came As Romans’ late Kyle Pavone, to a gritty work with sister duo Krewella, The Wise and The Wicked moves freely through genres without losing continuity in concept and music. Split up into chapters which are dictated by production style, The Wise and The Wicked tells a story of a dystopia that resulted from increasing threats to our society in our current day and age.

Following the massive success of his latest release “Tokyo Nights” with Digital Farm Animals & Dragonette, Shaun Frank is back with an up-tempo house record titled “Bon Appétit.” Out now via Ultra Music, this tasty track features catchy and upbeat vocals from developing artist YA-LE.

“Bon Appétit” is a delicious house track loaded with electrifying kicks and powerful synths, bringing Shaun Frank back to his roots of what he’s best known for, melodic house music. The track begins with the catchy “Bon Appetit” vocal hook that pulls you in and then releases into a high-energy drop filled with Shaun Frank’s signature infectious melodies. YA-LE’s seductive vocals and Shaun’s immaculate production fuse together with perfect synergy, making “Bon Appétit” a sure-fire hit.

Rising American artist, Nevada, returns with his highly-anticipated second single “Don’t Call Me”. After the success of “The Mack”, which amassed over 320 million streams, the new record that’s been two years in the making, is out now.

Featuring respected vocalist Emma Lov from the New York-based pop duo Loote, “Don’t Call Me” takes the triumphant, alleviating vibe of her voice and beautiful piano chord progressions to start the song off. Plump kicks and bass tones underpin the slick chorus as Nevada begins to sing and vocal harmonies trade places with the main refrain. Nevada’s lightness of touch and powerful voice shines through as always, creating a full-sounding, widescreen production.
