Music Monday: Fickle Friends, GANZ, Shinedown, Bro Safari & UFO!, StayLoose & ROZES, and Deorro & D3FAI

Fickle Friends has released their final track from You Are Someone Else (Versions), “Bite – MUNA Remix”. Alongside the premiere, frontwoman Natti Shiner also hinted in her interview with Cools, that new music is on its way and could be here as early as September, coinciding with the band’s first North America tour.

Their memorable bops, which Stereogum has already described as “infectious” and Noisey called “a sparkling slab of indie-pop,” have directly impacted their reach with over 60 million streams on Spotify and the cover of Spotify’s Indie Pop playlist and praise from Pitchfork, Nylon, Paste. Along with the MUNA Remix, we’re giving you an awesome BONUS of their brand new track “Broken Sleep.”

GANZ accentuates his unparalleled style on “I’ll Be Gone,” a vibrant single off his Skin In The Game EP. With meticulously chopped vocals, flourishing synths and reverberating bass, GANZ showcases his growth as a producer on one of his most radiant offerings to-date.

Fresh off summer 2018 gigs at Hurricane Festival and Southside Festival in Germany, GANZ continues his global takeover as he gears up to release Skin In The Game.

Shinedown‘s new single “GET UP” has quickly found its way into the hearts and minds of many people and for good reason – the moving, uplifting track offers hope and encouragement in the face of personal struggles, whatever they may be. For frontman Brent Smith, the song was born out of watching his friend, Shinedown bassist Eric Bass, deal with depression. Offering a light in a time of darkness, especially with mental health issues, is something Brent is deeply connected to after battling his own personal demons.

While writing for the new album ATTENTION ATTENTION – the first album he has written totally sober – he put pen to paper in the most open and honest creative place he’s ever been, and a beautiful, universal song rooted in Brent and Eric’s raw vulnerability took shape.

Bro Safari and UFO! are no strangers to working together. With drum n’ bass at the core of both of the producers’ roots and with countless collaborations already under their belt, they’re back in action with a new single “N.U.M.B.” – the first taste of their forthcoming album, Clockwork.

Fans will notice a modern twist on the artist’s signature style as “N.U.M.B.” and the album as a whole have a strong emphasis on experimental otherworldly sounds. The track starts with an eerie buildup that leads to a trippy and rattling breakdown; swirling into heavy drops filled with animalistic sounds and rhythms.

StayLoose teams up with singer/songwriter ROZES to materialize a quintessential blend of moody and striking sounds on “Mean To Me.” On the Dim Mak single, StayLoose maintains his vintage electronic rock synths while effortlessly absorbing ROZES’ dynamic vocals throughout.

His productions have earned him support from the likes of Alison Wonderland, Louis The Child and Zeds Dead, as well as publications including Billboard, Pigeons & Planes and Complex.

Dance music legend Deorro conspired with Argentinian producer D3FAI to create a concoction of reverberating electro synths, thumping kicks and hard hitting bass, all of which metamorphosed into the massive big room house banger “TITAN.”

Deorro, already considered a “TITAN” of dance music, has started off this summer strong by bringing the heat to major music festivals across the globe, including Coachella, EDC Mexico, Lollapalooza Brazil, Argentina, and Chile. In support of these major live plays, the Los Angeles-based, Mexican-American artist gifted audiences with several new productions geared towards festival stages; singles that were sure to please his fiercely loyal fanbase.
