Music Monday: Binky, AMiR, Ivy Adara, QUIX x Luca Lush x Yung Bambi, PLS&TY, and Riot Ten & Stoutty

London singer-songwriter Binky has an enviable drive for success matched only by her musical ability and infectious personality. In the past few years, she’s managed to cement her place as one of the country’s most prominent new names in Country and Pop music. Critically acclaimed tracks and performances have been backed up by overwhelming support on streaming platforms, leading to sold-out live dates.

Traveling to Nashville and experiencing Country music’s roots and heritage only inspired the young songwriter further, to the point where she wanted to combine the UK sound with the authenticity of what she experienced in Nashville. The first track to come from this fusion was the incredible debut “Fireflies”. A joyous slice of summer, the track is now approaching 300K streams on Spotify as well as a number 8 debut chart position on iTunes.

Born in North-London to a Punjabi father and a mother from the Midlands, AMiR has always had a burning passion for music. His hard-work and undeniable talent have begun to bear fruit, leading to opportunities to work with Grammy-winning producers in the United States and Europe, including Peter and Daniel (Matoma, Galantis, DFA) and Patrick Patrikios (Little Mix). Since starting out as a solo artist, it’s been an emphatic, upward trajectory.

The first release of 2019 is the funk-rich, pop-leaning “Stolen”. A statement of intent for the feel-good vibes of the album, it’s unapologetically retro with a contemporary production standard.

Rising Australian pop sensation Ivy Adara has a new video for “Callgirl”; the successful single from her debut EP Intraduction. Ivy recently performed the track for AllSaints as part of the brand’s popular LA session series.

Most recently, Ivy co-wrote the Cheat Codes x Kim Petras single “Feeling Of Falling”, co-wrote and is featured on Gryffin’s single “Bye Bye”.

QUIX and Luca Lush come together on powerhouse collaboration “Berserk.” Joined by Texas rapper Yung Bambi, the trio take listeners on a wavy ride through frenzied hip-hop meets trap production.

Hailing from New Zealand, QUIX has dominated the global dance music scene with his wonky breed of trap. This past year alone, he headlined three tours around the world, including festival performances at Coachella and Holy Ship!

PLS&TY’s newest vocal release “Motives” (ft. GANZ & Nevve) just has been released on PLS&TY’s imprint. “Motives” is a heartfelt single which touches upon a lack of commitment and indifference in a relationship. This is another great piece from PLS&TY after releasing Rusko’s remix of “Rebel Love.”

Riot Ten & Stoutty drop an aerial assault of bass on the Dim Mak single “All The Smoke.” Featuring Bok Nero’s signature #hoodEDM flow, hyper raps accompany ruthless dubstep drops on another rail-breaking anthem.

“All The Smoke” is the first official collaboration between Riot Ten and rising South Bay producer Stoutty and will appear on Riot Ten’s forthcoming 3rd EP with Dim Mak.
