In celebration of World Wish Day, April 29, Los Angeles-via-Australia electronic music producer Wish I Was (aka Tyson Illingworth) teamed up with 18-year-old wish kid Kara on the beautiful and inspiring “Ready To Start.” It was Kara’s wish to record a song. Being a big fan of Make-A-Wish, Wish I Was was happy to make Kara’s wish come true.
Wish I Was secured time at Universal Music’s recording studio and enlisted the help of professional songwriters. In February 2019, Kara flew in from Chagrin Falls, Ohio to start work on the song. The completed song was chosen as the soundtrack for the new Make-A-Wish PSA as part of the 2019 World Wish Day campaign.
*repeat repeat have released the new single “Head On,” the second track released from the band’s new studio album, Glazed, available now via Dangerbird Records. The album includes both “Head On” and the first single “Hi I’m Waiting.”
The follow-up to 2017’s Floral Canyon, Glazed marks a period of major growth for *repeat repeat, who worked closely with Glazed producer Patrick Carney to immerse themselves in a more rigorous songwriting and recording process than they’d ever attempted before.
Meet Nashville rocker, MOTE aka Joe Schneider. He is thrilled to announce his new EP, Get The Door, to be released on June 7th. To celebrate, he has released the first single, “World Wide Love.”
MOTE says, “My favorite thing about World Wide Love, because there isn’t a definition, is that the phrase prompts the listener to imagine what worldwide love looks like and feels like in their own mind. The song is very open to interpretation, but while I was writing it, I was thinking about how looking inside and trying to understand one’s self benefits everyone else too.”
Bear Grillz takes rock and roll through an epic dubstep journey accompanied by the rousing vocals of Micah Martin on “Stay.” Stabbing beats and exploding bass rider over intense kicks on this unique spin on the producer’s bass-heavy style. “Stay” is the third single off Bear Grillz’ forthcoming Demons album and arrives alongside the commencement of the Demons Tour, which kicked off last week in San Francisco.
Demons is set to be Bear Grillz’ most diverse collection of work to date. The full-length project contains previously released singles “Flow” and the title track “Demons,” both of which see the producer incorporate fresh spins on bombastic bass house and melodic future bass soundscapes, respectively.
Cyran is landing in with a new track “Fly Away,” out now on Circus Records. Having provided a remix of “Hollywood Dream” for Fransis Derelle’s Pixel Paradise Remixed EP earlier this year Cyran continues in a rich vein of form having already done high profile remixes and collaborations with artists such as Flux Pavillion and Dirt Monkey.
Since being featured on the legendary Flux Pavilion Earwax compilation with “All The Time,” Cyran has become a fan favorite. “Fly Away” swoops in with happy, bright, Cali vibes. A constant in the west coast producers sound.

UFO Project is beaming in with a new track “Faster” out now on Circus Records. This follows up their last EP with the label ‘Leto’ which had support from Jaguar Skills, BloodThinnerz, 12th Planet, SPL, Knife Party and many more.
The lads initially had breakout success releasing “Shorty Come My Way” on Zeds Dead’s Dead Beats and haven’t looked back since. “Faster” features all of their classic out-of-this-world sounds, incorporating sub-bass frequencies, spatial atmospherics, and epic breakdowns.
Zr. King has left a big impression on the local scene, receiving support on BBox Radio, Radio Free Brooklyn, and playing at acclaimed venues in the Northeast.
The band got their start in New York in 2012, when brothers Brandon and Griffin Lotti (formerly of rock act Social Hero) reinvented their line up along with Matthew Thompson and Derek “D-Pain” Skyler. From 2016 on, D-Pain’s role has been filled by renowned NYC drummer Medley Shabazz, and the band has kept at fine-tuning their guitar-driven, power-rock style.
