Music Monday: Tritonal, BLVD., Bassboy, Moon Boots, and Styline x Mr. Sid x Dave Ruthwell

Released earlier this spring to much fanfare, Tritonal and Rachel Patten’s collaborative effort “Little Bit of Love” is now getting the remix treatment from international up and comers, Gattuso, Kolonie, Ruhde, and Simon Skylar.

The remix package kicks off strong with Gattuso’s addictive offering; One that brings bountiful of high energy to the electric original. Following is Italian artist Ruhde’s summery, pop-centric rendition. Both artists build on the track’s warm feel with lively elements that bring a welcomed dancefloor-centered energy to the project.

A brand new heavy single from BLVD. is out now. BLVD. has received support from influential artists such as Diplo, Alison Wonderland, RL Grime, 4B, Nitti Gritti, and Ekali before releasing his debut “Crowd Control” back in May. “Full Send”  is the mysterious artist’s 2nd original release.

Balancing hypnotic breakdowns with club-vibrating sounds, UK producer Bassboy brings bassline music across the pond for his New Noise debut “Awkward.”

Having spent the last decade perfecting his talents as both a DJ and producer in the underground bassline scene, Birmingham’s Bassboy has arisen from the ashes and gone global. Today he has millions of on-demand streams to his name and counts A-list artists (such as Drake) amongst his fans. With playful background vocals, Bassboy’s New Noise debut track “Awkward” reflects his larger-than-life entertaining personality.

After a foray into exotic psychedelia with his ‘Keramas / Harpanet EP,’ producer / DJ / keyboardist Moon Boots returns to his jazzy house foundations with ‘Tied Up’, an ode to the bonds of love and/or bondage (depending on your perspective). Boots and his friend, Brooklyn nightlife fixture Steven Klavier, channel their appreciation for barbershop harmonies and early Pharrell to create a sweet and unforgettable summer jam.

‘Tied Up’ is the first single from Moon Boots’ newly announced second LP Bimini Road. Inspired by the discovery of the ruins of Atlantis at Bimini in the Bahamas, Bimini Road is a joyous listen that combines elements of soulful & melodic house, disco, and R&B.

Nicky Romero’s Protocol has released a new electro-house collaboration between Styline (German, living in Indonesia), Mr. Sid (Dutch) and Dave Ruthwell (Venezuelan). These three artists are back on the label with their brand new “READY FOR THE BEAT” which is a follow-up to their February’s collaboration “DONT STOP, also fusing big-room and electro-house sounds.
