Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker Review

The last Star Wars installment of J.J. Abrams’ trilogy and all I have to say is brace yourself. The movie was nostalgic and emotional with a surprise twist.

It seems like the adventure ended for the original trio, but began for a new set of friends. Ray is still dealing with her troubled past but finds out who she truly is. Kylo-Ren is still being emo, but he finds out what his true destiny is. Emperor Palpatine is back and scarier than ever, but the main question is.. how did he survive all those decades? And he’s been pulling the strings this whole time. But he’s coming with a whole fleet to rule the galaxy under his control.

Chewbacca (Joonas Suotamo), Poe (Oscar Isaac), Finn (John Boyega), Rey (Daisy Ridley) and C-3PO (Anthony Daniels) in STAR WARS: THE RISE OF SKYWALKER.

We get a surprise character as Lando makes a comeback, but suffers a tragic loss. There are some things that happen in the film that will have you questioning it, that they leave unexplained. And they had some characters that looked cool but didn’t do much.

Overall the movie was really good and can’t wait to see it again. I give Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker a 9/10.
