Music Monday: Young, Planetary; Sound Quelle, Ajeet Kaur, Nicky Romero, and Ellen Krauss

Sometimes, art comes together quickly and naturally. Other times, it takes years of changing viewpoints and personal shifts for a project to truly find itself. Young, Planetary started in 2013 and has faced various setbacks in their time together. Considering their gnarled history, a lesser group would have already thrown in the towel.

Over the past few years Russian producer Sound Quelle aka Valery Lebedev has established himself as a leading artist in the deep and melodic house world. Thanks to a prolific work-rate and assured confidence, he has developed a singular sound that has captured the ears of dance music fans around the world, seeing millions of streams and features on prominent playlists like Deep House Relax, Chill Tracks and Night Rider on Spotify.

He has seen support on his productions from renowned DJs and producers including Diplo, Nora En Pure and Above & Beyond, with album single ‘Hung’ currently on rotation on Sirius XM Chill. In addition to his fast building portfolio, Sound Quelle has also performed across Europe with Colorcapes and ASOT 950.

World music artist Ajeet releases her new single “Dance Of The Moon” along with a music video.

Ajeet has said that, “Dance of the Moon” sings to wildness in the night and the endless spaces of the dream world. It invokes ancient lore telling of spirits in other realms, who at times offer glimpses past the veil between us.

Nicky Romero’s newest release – “Burning” ft. Jordan Grace, has been released on Protocol Recordings. The track delivers Nicky’s new, recently introduced club style, which refers to the sound of “Redefine” EP released earlier this year.

Meet rising Swedish indie pop singer, Ellen Krauss who is thrilled to share her new single “Bali” out now through Tiller Inc. licensed to BMG Recorded Music and featured on Ones to Watch.

“This song is about a steamy date. Simple as that. The girl I wrote it about had planned a trip to Bali.  “Maybe this song will play a different role now than when I wrote it, because of Corona. People now have to fantasise about a hot vacation instead of actually going places. But that can be fun too.”
