Music Monday: Dai Burger, THE WEEKS, Jessie Wagner, Ray Hodge, and Ckay

The super talented New York rapper Dai Burger remixed the Keys N Krates track “Double Dutch” and it’s out now via Young Art Records.

For the rework, the track gets a jolt of energy courtesy of Dai as she seamlessly slips between an incendiary flow and soft vocals atop the house, disco and Brazilian trap-inspired soundscape.

The Weeks’ release of their new official video for “Monoglot” is out now! The official video follows the release of their full LP “Twisted Rivers” on 09/04. The video was filmed in Nashville, TN and directed by Aaron Scott.

The in-demand touring vocalist Jessie Wagner (Lenny Kravitz, Chic, Duran Duran, Little Steven and the Disciples of Soul) and frontwoman for NYC rock/soul band Army of the Underdog released her critically acclaimed debut solo album ‘Shoes Droppin’ earlier this year via Wicked Cool Records. Enjoy her single, “What Christmas is to Me.”

Ray Hodge is a powerful singer/songwriter from Jamaica, Queens. A New York native crafting his own original brand of music that somehow manages to encapsulate indie, pop and soul music all wrapped up into one perfect package, with his big vocals and personality being the centerpiece of it all.

Ray Hodge and his bandmates, Blakmajor, who are made up of Ray’s two lifelong friends, Blakb3ard The Gr8 and Aeon Akira, have been sharpening their theatrical live performance skills the last few years playing various underground clubs in NYC . The music is honest, raw and emotional.

Ckay (Real name Chukwuka Ekweani) is a multidiverse Artiste/Music Producer signed to the Africa’s biggest Music and Entertainment company; Chocolate City Music. Ckay with his popular production tag ‘Ckay Yo” has produced songs for various artistes such as M.I Abaga, Dice Ailes, DJ Spinall, DJ Neptune, Ice Prince, and more.
