Music Monday: IceBeatChillz X Beenie Man, Riot Ten & CHRMNDRS, Marcus Santoro & Isabelle Stern, Franky Wah ft. AETHO, James Vickery ft. Musiq Soulchild, and Lycoriscoris

Nigerian Artist/Producer IceBeatChillz video for his debut single “Area,” featuring Jamaican dance hall legend Beenie Man is out now and was recently featured on MTV’s “Spankin’ New!”

Ice combines different influences from Asian flutes to uniquely African percussions, Latin spices and more, culturally layering an Afro-Beats foundation, and giving birth to a fresh sound that is uniquely his own.

Riot Ten and CHRMNDRS pack the floor with chaotic drops and drilling beats on their party-starting banger “Poppin (feat. Krystall Poppin).”

Following a massive year for Riot Ten, which included the release of his Hype or Die: Emergence EP and his house-focused BLKMRKT Vol.1 EP, the El Paso-based producer kicks off 2021 with “Poppin.” It is the first single off Riot Ten’s highly-anticipated forthcoming sophomore album, set to drop this year on Dim Mak.

With an ear worm of a vocal from American singer Isabelle Stern, ‘It’s Not About You’ is an exhilarating release that merges a polished, rollicking progressive house instrumental with themes of yearning and desire. This track from Marcus Santoro engulfs both Marcus’ talent within the progressive genre and Isabelle’s sultry and soothing voice. The two harmoniously blend their respective skills to create a lush and vibrant record that is easily pleasing to fans and listeners.

Franky Wah and AETHO have unveiled the official video for their collaborative track ‘Should Have Seen It Coming.’ Directed by multidisciplinary creative Ash Lim (M.I.A., Adidas, Converse) and featuring AETHO as the protagonist, the emotionally charged official video for ‘Should Have Seen It Coming’ delivers a striking visual representation of what it feels like when a relationship falls apart.

South London’s James Vickery is the new face of UK R&B. Following the enormous success of his hugely popular COLORS session, which amassed more than 22 million views, James caught the attention of many admirers internationally, subsequently leading to the London-born songwriter inking record and publishing deals with TH3RD BRAIN and Roc Nation respectively despite being born deaf in his left ear. Below you’ll find his tasty new single with Musiq Soulchild “Come To Me”.

Japanese artist Yunosuke Senoo, aka Lycoriscoris, returns to Anjunadeep with the announcement of his upcoming album ‘Chiyu’, out March 26.  In recent years, Senoo has built a cult following as part of a new wave of Japanese producers.

His signature blend of organic melodies with intricate sound design has won him support from the likes of DJ Koze, Michael Mayer, &ME, and BBC Radio 1’s Phil Taggart. A multi-instrumentalist, Senoo has played live alongside the likes of The Field and Moritz Von Oswald at Tokyo’s legendary Dommune.
