Hugo’s Oyster Bar
This year’s Mother’s Day is bound to be extra special, and no holiday for mom would be complete without a gorgeous brunch. Treat her to a Sunday soiree at Hugo’s Oyster Bar in Historic Downtown Roswell where they will be offering a limited brunch menu featuring dishes inspired by New Orleans cuisine.
Start the meal with an order of Praline Bacon or Beignets with powdered sugar and praline sauce before enjoying one of the entrees, like the Shrimp and Grits, Etouffee Benedict with andouille sausage, crawfish etouffee and hash, or Bananas Foster French Toast with vanilla gelato. Also available are sides of bacon, white cheddar grits and eggs to complete the feast. The bartenders at Hugo’s have created a cocktail menu full of warm weather cocktails including the Summertime Setback with vodka, blueberries, fresh lemon and mint, and the Strawberry Frose with rose, pamplemousse liqueur and fresh strawberries.
Enjoy the spring weather on the patio to make the experience even more memorable! Hugo’s Oyster Bar will serve the brunch alongside their dinner menu, and will be open on Mother’s Day, Sunday, May 9 from 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., with brunch served until 3:00 p.m.
Doughnut Dollies
Doughnut Dollies’ Chef Anna Gatti has created an over-the-top, picnic-themed doughnut box filled with flavors such as Watermelon, Blueberry Crumble, Ambrosia, Fig & Brie. Presented on red and white “picnic blanket” parchment paper, bring the doughnut box to your picnic and spend the day eating doughnuts with Mom! Drift Fish House & Oyster Bar will open its doors from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. for a special brunch service sure to impress Mom. Executive Chef Alex Bolduc’s brunch menu includes sweet and savory morning favorites, as well as house specialties highlighting the freshest sustainable seafood. Guests can expect Wood Fired Broiled Oysters, fresh baked Brioche Cinnamon Rolls, and a delectable Lobster and Crab French Omelet in addition to menu mainstays like the Connecticut- or Maine-style Lobster Roll. No celebration is complete without festive Bellinis, available in Strawberry & Herbs De Provence or Blueberry & Thyme varieties. Mother’s Day dinner service will also be offered from 5 – 9 p.m.
