Music Monday: Ty Brasel, Holly Humberstone, Foals, Yumi Zouma, and Cosmic Gate & Greenhaven DJs

“Memphissippi,” based IVAV (a hip-hop division of Curb Records) Rapper Ty Brasel recently released his mixtape Destiny: Vol. 1 at the end of 2021. Produced by Dirty Rice, Joseph Prielozny, and Juice Bangers, Destiny: Vol. 1 also features cameos from a long list of hip-hop collaborators, including Jay-Way, J. Monty, Plan G, 1k Phew, Jenna Wright, and Parris Chariz.

Holly Humberstone is touring with girl in red this Spring and will be performing in Altanta on Monday, March 7th to play a SOLD OUT show at The Eastern. This will mark Holly’s first-ever full-length tour across the U.S., coming on the heels of an absolutely groundbreaking year where she released her highly anticipated sophomore EP, The Walls Are Way Too Thin.

Foals’ current single “2am” amplified the huge anticipation that is building ahead of the release of their new album Life Is Yours this summer. Check out the video to the single below.

International alt-pop band Yumi Zouma announced their new track “Where The Light Used To Lay,” as their latest single from their eagerly awaited new album, Present Tense. The poignant track arrives alongside the second in a mesmerizing trilogy of official music videos directed by filmmaker Alex Ross Perry (Her SmellListen up Philip).

Cosmic Gate and Greenhaven DJs present their new single “Retrospection”. Drum-punch, cyber FX, saw-toothed-synths, chasm-deep drops, deeply warped bass, and a leadline every bit as lethal as it is minimal, all pressure-cook its production.
