Music Monday: JAGUERO, Arodes & Emvafaya ft. Darla Jade, QUESTA, Counterpunch, and Claire Guerreso

A new punk rock band from old acquaintances is born in Italy. Formed by members of Slander, Regarde, and La Fortuna, JAGUERO debuts with the first single “Mild Safari,” which serves as a taste of the band’s first EP.

Celebrated Haitian producer and Deep Root label impresario Francis Mercier (aka Emvafaya) joins forces with Spanish deep house maestro Arodes (who has released music on Armada and MoBlack Records and hit #1 on the Beatport Afrohouse chart) and UK electropop star and BBC favorite Darla Jade for a sensuous late-night take on Adrian Lux’s ‘Teenage Crime’, turning the iconic festival fave into an atmospheric melodic techno dream in the vein of Nora En Pure or Maya Jane Coles.

Psychedelic indie rock artist, QUESTA, has released his debut single, “Feedin’”, available on all music platforms. Ahead of QUESTA’s debut EP release on June 3rd, 2022, “Feedin’” will be featured on an upcoming episode of the hit TV show Servant, streaming exclusively on Apple TV+.

Counterpunch is a four-piece powerhouse that has been bringing its own catchy brand of melodic punk rock since 2004. Following the release of their self-titled debut in 2004 under their own imprint Punch-It Records (alternatively titled ‘An Idiot’s Guide to Being an Asshole’ under Radtone Records in Japan), the band began their journey into both the US and international markets.

Singer/songwriter Claire Guerreso is thrilled to release her new single “CEO” which is out now and featured in Wonderland Magazine“CEO” just debuted on the TV show, The Equalizer. Claire Guerreso combines all genres into a powerful mixture of her own song creations. She specializes in making and performing music for media outlets such as film and TV as well as writing with and for other artists.
