Music Monday: Spirit of the Bear, S.A.M. ft Sarah Ikumu, Hot Freaks, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike ft R3HAB x Prezioso, and RYMAN

Indie rock band Spirit of the Bear is thrilled to release their new single “Wires”. Spirit of the Bear quickly became one of the freshest and most exciting bands to emerge in the Ohio music scene with their unique blend of indie rock, pop, and electronic sensibilities coupled with their affinity for pop songwriting. The band’s years of musical experience are accentuated by their use of two keyboard players, bringing a unique depth to their sound.

Denmark’s very own breakthrough producer, DJ, and label manager S.A.M. has thrived in carving out their distinctive sound, striking the balance between modern minimalism and chunky classic house sounds across their catalog of releases. The new single, featuring striking vocals from Sarah Ikumu who seamlessly covers the well-known Jennifer Hudson song, ‘Spotlight’, is available on all streaming platforms.

Indie rock band Hot Freaks are thrilled to release their new sinlge “Lovely”. The band says, “Lovely” is about trying to keep your chin up at the end of a relationship.  It’s about trying to rationalize the breakup and still feel like the relationship was a positive experience – and focusing on the other person’s positive qualities rather than being swept into negativity.

LOVELY is the first new music to follow up Hot Freak’s breakout success of PUPPY PRINCESS (28 million Spotify streams) and fan favorite PAYCHECK 2 PAYCHECK.

Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike are back with a new project featuring R3HAB and Italian veteran producer, turntablist Prezioso. They’ve teamed up on dance-pop single “Shooting Darts” which you can hear below.

Indie pop singer, Ryman is thrilled to release his new single “Immature”. At just 17-years-old, singer/songwriter RYMAN, the namesake of one of the most revered venues in his hometown of Nashville, is poised to impact this year with his uniquely youthful and colorful sound.
