“It is my pleasure to celebrate our success with STREETZFEST 2k22 concert feat Lil Durk and H.E.R., Mad Marcc, Hunxho, BRS KASH and more artists to be announced,” said Steve Hegwood, President/CEO of Core Radio Group. “It keeps us at the forefront of this competitive Atlanta market.”

Headlining STREETZFEST 2k22 will be Lil Durk, who started rapping in his teens, building popularity in Chicago through mixtapes before landing on Def Jam in 2012. His debut album, ‘Remember My Name,’ came out in 2015, followed by ‘Lil Durk 2X’. He later left Def Jam in 2018, asserting his independence on a spate of mixtapes before dropping 2020’s ‘Just Cause Y’all Waited 2.’ He is currently signed to Alamo Records.

The lineup also features H.E.R., who grew up in Vallejo, CA, and signed at 14 to Sony’s RCA Records. With tracks like ‘Damages’ and ‘Come Through’, she helped codify what traditional, musically minded R&B could sound like in the 2010s and 2020s without ever feeling like a throwback. In 2019, H.E.R. received her first GRAMMY® nods, including Best New Artist and Best R&B Song. Since then, H.E.R. has received 21 GRAMMY® nominations and won five GRAMMY® awards.

Joining the lineup is Atlanta rapper Mad Marcc, who is known for a robust social media presence, which has helped kick-start his music career. In 2021, he released a remix of ‘Campbellton’ featuring King Von. In 2020, he signed on with Wolf Pack Global Music for the release of ‘Not Playin,’ a project that included appearances from Lil Baby and VL Deck.

The evening will also feature Atlanta rapper Hunxho, who titled his 2020 album ‘Street Poet with good reason: Gifted’ with a shape-shifting flow, he’s a skillful chronicler of the grim determination required to survive when the chips are stacked against you. Joining them all will be BRS Kash, whose career has taken off. The melodically blessed Atlanta rapper has strutted into the spotlight with confidence. His voice is silky-toned, his bars are always diamond-sharp, and he’s hellbent on proving his versatility as a songwriter. Regardless of what topics he touches, BRS Kash does it with a natural ear for hooks and remarkable ease.
