Music Monday: Nicky Romero, Michael Canitrot, MitiS & Ray Volpe, Sébastien Léger, and The Subways

Nicky Romero’s new single “Techtronic,” was just released and it’s the first track presenting his reinvented club sound. Nicky’s plan is to have enough new music of this sound to give a full performance with it. “Techtronic” is out now, “Myriad” will be available on Oct 14, and there’s already an EP in the works.

Visionary French melodic techno maestro Michael Canitrot returns with ‘Take It Back’, his most irresistible and anthemic song yet, this time collaborating with celebrated American vocalist Armen Paul. The song has already been added to Spotify’s New Music Friday France. Canitrot is also renowned in his native country for his next level ‘Monumental Tour’ event concept, which combines electronic music performance with architectural video projection and spectacular lighting effects at iconic landmark spaces. The Monumental Tour concept, supported by UNESCO, is an opportunity for Canitrot to raise awareness of the importance of preserving our heritage and to continue democratizing electronic music and presenting it in a new context for a larger audience.

Melodic dance music producer and DJ, MitiS, returns to Ophelia Records with his first multi-track release since his 2021 sophomore album ‘Lost.’   ‘Together’ is a collaborative EP that sees MitiS joining forces with arguably the hottest producer in bass music, Ray Volpe, talented singer/songwriter and producer Amidy, and fan-favorite melodic bass labelmate Crystal Skies.

Sébastien Léger remixes Above & Beyond and anamē’s vocal hit, ‘Gratitude’ (feat. Marty Longstaff).

A regular on Lee Burridge’s seminal All Day I Dream imprint, Sébastien is a mighty force within the global electronic music circuit. He’s been releasing music for over 20 years, with recent DJ support from Hernan Cattaneo, John Digweed, Sasha, Prospa, and many more.
