Music Monday: CHYL, Lucias Malcolm, Dubdogz x Maxximal x MC Hollywood, Profesor Galáctico, and Thomas Newson

CHYL showcases her top-notch Speed House sound with “Eclipse,” an emotional and vocal-driven soundscape with an energizing drop. The track’s vocals are harmoniously intertwined with the complex hybrid bass production, packing in elements of CHYL’s signature speed house sound with touches of trap, bass, and even trance.

Lucias Malcolm, frontman for acclaimed UK ska-punk band Call Me Malcolm, released his debut solo album titled ‘Past, Present, and Future Regrets’ on March 10th. The new single “No Spoilers, But Everyone Dies At The End,” is out now, along with an accompanying music video.

Brazil’s fastest-rising production duo Dubdogz continues their recent release streak with their latest crowd-pleasing anthem, “Oi Oi Oi.” Joining forces with two other major players in the Brazilian dance music scene, Maxximal and MC Hollywood, Dubdogz injects their trademark bouncy Brazilian Bass sound into a New Wave classic: “Psycho Killer.” An ode to Talking Heads’ transformative ‘77 record, “Oi Oi Oi” blends the old with the new to deliver the producers’ most anticipated single yet. “Oi Oi Oi” is out now via HUB Records.

Profesor Galactico is Nico Curiel, a self-taught musician, singer-songwriter & producer from Los Angeles. His music eclectically swings through ska, Latin, reggae & hip-hop through a punk filter. A veteran of the Los Angeles Ska-Punk, indie scene, Profesor Galactico has been energizing fans across SoCal with his act, as well as their associated act The Paranoias. Thomas Newson’s new melodic house single, “Home” with Flachbau, is out now on Nicky Romero’s Protocol. “Home” is the 1st single off of his EP “Dysnomia”, a project he’s been working on for a while and proves his love for the deeper, melodic, and progressive house sound.
