From the creators of local food/restaurant show Atlanta Eats, Bread n Butter Productions announces the launch of a new Syndicated food & travel television show, “Dish Worth The Drive – Southern Eats“. Bread n Butter Productions has cleared the new regional franchise in Broadcast TV Markets across the South including Texas and Florida. Coming off the success over the last three years of Atlanta Eats, the shows producers will expand the focus of Dish Worth The Drive to celebrate the red-hot food scene south of the Mason-Dixon line, with the same emphasis on discovering hidden gems and can’t miss hot spots as travelers hit the road for business or leisure across the Southeast. The show premieres in May of 2015 and will air in over 50 Southern markets representing over 30 million homes. Affiliates include CBS in Dallas, Atlanta and Houston as well as Cox affiliates in Orlando, Charlotte, Memphis and Tulsa and ABC Owned WTVD in Raleigh/Durham.
Hosted by Atlanta Eats and Food Network personality Steak Shapiro, each 30 minute episode has him eating his way through four ‘crave worthy’ destinations in the South. He will explore the sights, sounds and restaurants that make dining in the South and these towns so delicious. The first episode will feature Atlanta as one of the destinations (with stops at St. Cecelia, Bone Garden, Gun Show, and Serpas) as well as Gulf Shores, Alabama and South Walton, Florida.
Founder of Bread n Butter Productions, and host of DWTD, Steak Shapiro says “Our company is incredibly passionate about food, dining, travel and creating great video content around it. That is why we are so thrilled to be launching this show in some of the great food cities in America.”
