Celebrating its fifth anniversary, the Atlanta Street Food & Music Festival rolls into its new location at Stone Mountain Park on Saturday June 11, from noon to 8 p.m. and Sunday, June 12, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Atlanta’s food truck fanatics and music enthusiasts will experience a weekend dedicated to the city’s finest food truck fare, live musical guests, DJs and artisans during this fun-filled event. Artists slated for the event include headliners Vertical Horizon, Vivian Green and Bilal. Finishing out the entertainment roster are local favorites Gritz & Jelly Butter Band (love them), the Velvet Stones, Atlanta Funk Society, Wasted Potential Brass Band and up to 12 more local bands and performers throughout the weekend.
Renowned as Atlanta’s first event dedicated to street cuisine, the Festival is proud to announce that a portion of event proceeds will support the Giving Kitchen, the beloved culinary charity with the unique mission of providing crisis grants to members of Atlanta’s restaurant community facing unanticipated hardship.
To provide guests with the complete festival experience, a diverse selection of craft beer, cocktails, wine and the ever-popular “liquor lemonade” will be available for purchase. More than 50 food trucks, including MIX’d UP, Deep South Biscuit, Five Finger Philly, Seven Seas Mediterranean Cafe, Blue Ridge Island Noodles, Low Country Lobster, Nectar Food Truck, Angelfire BBQ, Eldorado Taco, Williamson Bros. Bar-B-Q, and The Bento Bus will gather to wreak culinary havoc in Stone Mountain! Just putting it out there… Williamson Bros. BBQ is legit, and we can’t wait to try Low Country Lobster & Seven Seas!
Thomas’® English Muffins and Bagels serves as title sponsor for the 2016 event. The Thomas’® Breakfast Tour is a 20-city tour that brings a Thomas’® food truck that’s designed to look like a toaster to outdoor festivals, races and major retailer events from coast to coast. Attendees get a taste of a “Breakfast Like No Other,” with samplings of the company’s beloved English muffins and bagels. The event also features lawn games and chances to win prizes such as free Thomas’® product and branded swag. The Thomas’® Breakfast Tour hosted its official kickoff event in the Los Angeles area on National Bagel Day on February 9, and will continue its journey through June 2016.
