Music Monday: Disco Killerz & Holly T, Sevenn, Barong Family, R3HAB & GATTÜSO, Farius & Rolo Green, and Riot Ten & DIESEL

Following the success of their previous Enhanced release, “Million Things” with GATTUSO which has amassed millions of streams and hit #9 on the Dance/Mix Show Airplay chart on Billboard, New York duo Disco Killerz conjured up a brand new anthem with the help of UK by USA singer/songwriter Holly T.

“Nothing To Lose” is a bulletproof Dance banger with a belter of a chorus that is guaranteed to have you singing and dancing along, and it will no doubt be the soundtrack to your festival experiences in 2020.

From the party to the after-spot, Sevenn soundtracks the night moves with a hazy, psychedelic clubland banger “Uber,” his debut for Dim Mak.

Sevenn has hit the ground running this year, with the ride-share-inspired single serving as his third release of 2020. “Uber’s” predecessor, the Beethoven-sampling “Symphonia,” saw the producer team up alongside Brazilian DJ Alok on a genre-bending anthem, bringing classical music to the club. Sevenn was also summoned by Armin van Buuren to lend his remix skills to legendary producer’s Tempo Giusto’s collaboration “Mr. Navigator.”

The recently announced “Hard In Bangkok” album from Yellow Claw’s Barong Family label is out now. The LP, featuring 14 Barong Family’s artists, debuted in late March.

The entire Barong Family crew went to Bangkok for a studio camp. For 5 days they worked in a studio complex with 14 different international artists (some of them are mentioned in my previous message) and recorded 14 mini-documentaries (1 for each artist), a lot of photos, and great music. Each of the artists will share their own mini-documentary.

R3HAB and GATTÜSO team up on their new collaborative version of “Creep” – a cover of one of Radiohead’s most iconic tracks – redone with a vocal big-room house vibe, marking the first-ever recording for Spotify’s inaugural “mint Singles” program, a companion to its flagship dance playlist, mint, and a spin-off of the popular “Spotify Singles” series.

“Creep” will feel at home on the radio and during live performances, which might make it your new go-to track for any occasion. R3HAB first worked with GATTÜSO on his track “Lullaby” and most recently tapped him for a remix of “Flames,” slowly integrating the emerging DJ/producer into the CYB3RPVNK family.

With support from the likes of Above & Beyond and Armin Van Buuren firmly under his belt, (he will also appear as a guest on both ABGT and ASOT later this spring) Farius teams up with Rolo Green to release his massive new single “Neon Landing” on Enhanced Progressive.

Positioning himself strongly at the forefront of emerging progressive music, Farius continues to redefine the progressive sound in the UK.

Rail breakers and backboard breakers unite on “Ultimate,” an all-star collaboration between Riot Ten and basketball legend DIESEL (aka Shaquille O’Neal). Featuring turn up raps from viral Houston rapper T-Wayne, “Ultimate” sees artists from different mediums come together to create a game-changing dubstep anthem.

“Ultimate” provides the bass-fueled energy that fans of DIESEL (aka Shaquille O’Neal) and Riot Ten have come to anticipate. Since debuting his electronic music sets as DJ DIESEL in 2015 at TomorrowWorld, SHAQ has become a beloved figurehead within the dance music community. He’s released several original singles, including “BANG” alongside NGHTMRE & Lil Jon, toured across the globe, and even launched his own event series dubbed ‘Shaq’s Fun House.’
