Music Monday: Victory Kid, BT & Emma Hewitt, Bear Grillz, Benzi, Birdsałl, and Two Friends

Victory Kid are Southern California’s answer to a question that has yet to be asked. Their high-energy blend of Pop-Punk, Ska and Rock alludes to a time when everything was possible and nothing was off the table. On YouTube, they have racked up 900k views between their four music videos.

Vocalist/ guitarist Harrison Nida says, “This is one of our favorite songs on the record, and we’re so excited to release it. Ska Punk is such a fun genre to write and play in, because while it’s intense and can tell a heavy story it sounds so uplifting.”

Grammy-Nominated film composer, technologist, multi-instrumentalist, songwriter, and trance music icon BT announces his long-awaited new studio album “The Lost Art Of Longing.” BT’s first dance music-oriented album in seven years is preceded by the release of the single ‘No Warning Lights’ with the voice of Emma Hewitt.

“The Lost Art of Longing” is BT at his finest and finds a spot next to classic material including all-time greats ‘Ima,’ ‘ESCM’, and ‘Movement In Still Life.’ The album features 14 tracks that traverse the world of electronic dance music, from the cinematic ambiance of “Game Theory,” the progressive ‘Wildfire,’ ‘Walk Into The Water,’ ‘1AM in Paris’ and ‘Windows’.

Across 4 hard-hitting cuts, Bear Grillz conjures an array of thundering bass on his Ground Zero EP. Continuing his propensity for collaboration, Bear Grillz invites rapper Atarii to join him on several tracks, including the chaotic intro cut “Vision.”

“I’m pretty excited to have worked with up and comer Atarii throughout Ground Zero. Back in March, during the first lockdown, I got together with him and he made a few vocals for me and a couple pre-drop samples. I ended up using them all. One of my favorites is Vision, which is just a 128BPM smasher and he murdered the rap.” – Bear Grillz

Behind the scenes, DJ-producer Benzi has been experimenting with a new sound in his music arsenal — “Red Rover” brings out a different side to the artist that fans have never seen before.

Miles away from his trap roots, Benzi taps into a more emotional sound in this new summer track. Using Sad Alex’s enticing vocals, he produces a sentimental song yearning for a loved one’s physical embrace.

Having traveled the world several times over, Birdsałl fell in love with the bright and vibrant Pop and R&B scene after spending a period of time writing in LA.

As an accomplished multi-instrumentalist, Birdsałl combined all of his influences and experiences to quickly cement himself as a rising star attracting attention from labels and producers around the world. With his debut pop EP ‘Hot Money’ (out October 2nd), filled with bright melodies and infectious hooks, Birdsałl is here to brighten up the rest of 2020.

Two Friends’ feel-good bop “Looking At You (feat. Sam Vesso)” receives a multifaceted remix package from five producers. GSPR, Elijah Hill, Leondis, BLVD. and Fells take turns offering their own reinterpretations of the definitive anthem, laying down refreshing moments of future bass, dance, chilled house and trap.
